Blue Eye”Syri  Kaltër” is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Gjirokastër and Albania and is an important point of interest for tourists visiting this historic city.

In the vicinity of “Syri i Kaltër”, there are also tourist adaptations such as very good trekking routes and opportunities to find peace and balanced nature.The Blue Eye has been declared a natural monument. Its shape is oval, similar to the shape of an eye, bursting from the dark ground in the middle and blue on the sides. Its depth is very great, it reaches up to 45 m deep, it is a source of fresh and sweet water surrounded by dense and evergreen vegetation. 

The beauty sought by many visitors is found right there by the national road Sarandë-Delvinë-Gjirokastër. If the journey follows the opposite course of Bistrica, it reaches the source of the Blue Eye, where the greenery melts into the flowing waters.A small step to enter the park managed by the Delvinë forestry company, on a winding road, parallel to the large spring basin. All the freshwater of the spring is surrounded by a variety of vegetation.
